Doug Lowe,
AIA
Principal,
Programming Leader
President and Founder of Facility
Programming and Consulting, Doug is an architect who specializes
in programming and facilities master planning. Over the past 25
years he has provided these services on many projects across a wide
range of building types. He is recognized by his peers as an expert
in the field of architectural programming.
In 1992, Doug founded Facility Programming and Consulting and continues
to act as the firm’s president. Doug serves as the facility
programming team leader on many projects. His breadth of experience
and his “lessons learned” from more than 250 projects
makes him a good choice to lead the programming effort.
He is very good at quickly grasping the “big picture”
issues that control a project and helping everyone involved to understand
what decisions need to be made, and in which order.
Doug is an active member of the American Institute of Architects,
Texas Society of Architects, International Facility Management Association,
the Society for College and University Planning, and the Design
Build Institute of America. He has been a featured speaker at many
national conferences. He is listed in the 57th edition of Who’s
Who in America. |
