Schertz Cibolo Universal City ISD Facility Strategy

Facility Programming and Consulting was selected by Schertz Cibolo Universal City Independent School District (SCUCISD) to assist with a facility strategy to increase existing campus space. The school district experienced significant enrollment growth and was seeking expansion and additional facilities to accommodate this development. Several workshops were conducted to determine the exact nature of the district’s needs. Interviews were held at multiple campuses to draw insight from various user groups (including parents, faculty, and community stakeholders). The data collected during these interviews assisted the programming team with identifying critical expansion factors. Facility Programming and Consulting analyzed enrollment projections and current space utilization, assisting the district with the best strategies for using existing assets and valuable financial resources. These options identified the best possible areas for expansion, site issues, current projects, and costs. SCUISD used Facility Programming’s report to establish guidelines and move forward with their upcoming bond strategy.
